Gage Networks files unique Telecommunications Patent
Gage Networks has filed a unique Telecommunications Patent Application. UK Patent Application Number 1317538.5 details a new innovation known as a 'Dynamic Communications Key', which is the technology behind the leading-edge business telephony functionality that the company has developed in-house for use in applications across its global IP Telephony platform.

The Dynamic Communications Key enables a range of communications and telephony features such as single touch calling and intelligent conference calling from multiple devices and integrates telephony across all end user business and BYOD devices.

Portal Launched
New Hosting and Network Customer Portal Launched
As many of our customers are aware, Gage Networks is rolling out a brand new portal to provide its hosting and MPLS customers with easier and better access to information about their hosting and networking services.

The myGageNet customer portal has a range of features aimed at providing comprehensive information and an excellent and intuitive user experience for IT managers and administrators. Hosting customers can manage their power bars and view graphs monitoring bandwidth, power and data centre temperature, while MPLS customers can monitor bandwidth and Class of Service.

Network Change Freeze

All Network and Hosting customers should be aware of the Vodaphone network change freeze from midnight on Monday 9 December to midnight on Sunday 5 January 2014.

For more information on how your service may be affected during this period, please refer to the documentation on your portal or contact our service desk.

Sense
Deafblind Charity Sense re-signs with Gage Networks
Deafblind charity Sense has re-signed with Gage Networks for the supply of the IT infrastructure and network services for its London head office and regional service centres, for a further five years. The deal means that the charity has the technical expertise and network monitoring and reporting supplied by the Gage Networks team and a brand new, dedicated and secure MPLS network deployed over the Vodafone infrastructure.

Gage Networks also is a corporate supporter of Sense and donates money to the charity through its Prompt Payment Scheme, which gives £5 to Sense for every customer invoice settled by Direct Debit or within the company's payment terms.
